就是在我地上打折亚述人，在我山上将他践踏，他加的轭，必离开以色列人。他加的重担，必离开他们的肩头。
That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders.
亚哈斯王崩的那年，就有以下的默示。
In the year that king Ahaz died was this burden.
贫寒人的长子，必有所食，穷乏人必安然躺卧。我必以饥荒，治死你的根，你所馀剩的人，必被杀戮。
And the firstborn of the poor shall feed, and the needy shall lie down in safety: and I will kill thy root with famine, and he shall slay thy remnant.
门哪，应当哀号。城阿，应当呼喊。非利士全地阿，你都消化了。因为有烟从北方出来，他行伍中必无乱队的。
Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Palestina, art dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times.
耶和华论到乾旱之灾的话临到耶利米，
The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah concerning the dearth.
犹大悲哀，城门衰败。众人披上黑衣坐在地上。耶路撒冷的哀声上达。
Judah mourneth, and the gates thereof languish; they are black unto the ground; and the cry of Jerusalem is gone up.
耕地的也蒙羞抱头。因为无雨降在地上，地都乾裂。
Because the ground is chapt, for there was no rain in the earth, the plowmen were ashamed, they covered their heads.
耶和华阿，我们的罪孽虽然作见证告我们，还求你为你名的缘故行事。我们本是多次背道，得罪了你。
O LORD, though our iniquities testify against us, do thou it for thy name's sake: for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against thee.
以色列所盼望，在患难时作他救主的阿，你为何在这地像寄居的，又像行路的只住一宵呢。
O the hope of Israel, the saviour thereof in time of trouble, why shouldest thou be as a stranger in the land, and as a wayfaring man that turneth aside to tarry for a night?
你为何像受惊的人，像不能救人的勇士呢。耶和华阿，你仍在我们中间。我们也称为你名下的人，求你不要离开我们。
Why shouldest thou be as a man astonied, as a mighty man that cannot save? yet thou, O LORD, art in the midst of us, and we are called by thy name; leave us not.
